01 — The Facility
San Francisco's Premier
Performance Training Studio
Diakadi Performance is not a gym — it is a coaching facility. Founded in San Francisco's SoMa district, Diakadi has built a national reputation as one of the country's premier private performance training studios, with a client roster spanning professional athletes, executives, and anyone committed to training at the highest level. The equipment program had to be worthy of that standard.
The brief was straightforward: the best equipment available for functional strength, Olympic lifting, mobility work, and performance training — specified to meet the demands of elite coaches and their most serious clients. No treadmills, no selectorized circuit, no conventional gym floor. Instead: lifting platforms, competition-grade barbells and plates, cable systems engineered for serious loaded movement, and a training floor designed to support every coaching modality Diakadi offers.
The Opti-Fit team sourced, specified, and installed a program anchored by Eleiko — the Olympic standard in strength equipment — alongside Atlantis and Hoist systems selected for their coaching versatility and structural reliability. The result is a training environment that performs at the level Diakadi's coaches and clients demand.

02 — Strength & Olympic Lifting
Eleiko Platform Zone
& Competition Barbell Program
Eleiko competition barbells, bumper plates, and dedicated hardwood lifting platforms form the core of Diakadi's strength and Olympic lifting program — the same equipment specification used at the world's top weightlifting competitions and elite training centers.

Eleiko Platform Zone — Competition barbells, bumper plates, and dedicated lifting platforms
Eleiko Competition Barbells
Eleiko competition barbells — the standard for international Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting competition — equip the Diakadi platform zone. Eleiko's precision needle-bearing spin, certified whip characteristics, and knurling depth are the benchmark every other barbell is measured against. Specifying Eleiko at a private training facility signals an unambiguous commitment to coaching at the highest level.
Color-Coded Bumper Plates
A full Eleiko bumper plate set — in the international IWF color system — equips the platforms for the complete Olympic lifting vocabulary: snatch, clean and jerk, and all their derivatives. The precise diameter consistency of Eleiko bumpers guarantees correct bar height off the floor across every weight combination, which matters for teaching and refining technique at Diakadi's coaching standard.
Hardwood Lifting Platforms
Dedicated hardwood lifting platforms — maple center strips with rubber landing zones — provide the correct surface for heavy barbell work and protect the facility's structural floor during loaded drops. Each platform is sized for individual coaching sessions, allowing multiple lifters to train simultaneously under independent trainer supervision without interfering with each other's movements.
03 — Functional Training
Cable Systems &
Multi-Station Coaching Zones
Atlantis and Hoist cable systems — selected for their coaching versatility, attachment range, and structural precision — give Diakadi's trainers the functional training tools to work across every movement pattern with every client.

Cable Cross System — Full-range pulley stations for loaded movement pattern work
Atlantis Cable
Training Systems
Atlantis cable systems are specified for their coaching versatility above all else — a smooth, consistent cable feel across the full range of motion, an extensive attachment library, and the structural precision that allows coaches to set exact resistance for every loaded movement in their programming. At Diakadi, cable systems are tools for teaching and refining movement, not machines for isolating muscles. Atlantis is built to support that approach.
Hoist Functional
Training Stations
Hoist multi-station systems complement the Atlantis cable zone by providing independent resistance stations that allow simultaneous coaching of multiple clients across different movement patterns. The combination of Atlantis and Hoist functional training systems gives Diakadi's trainers the density of coaching options needed to run back-to-back sessions across the training floor without equipment conflicts or wait time — essential for a studio with Diakadi's session volume and trainer-to-client ratio.
04 — The Training Floor
A Complete Performance
Environment
The full Diakadi training floor — designed not as a gym layout but as a coaching environment — gives trainers and clients access to every programming modality without leaving the floor, from loaded carries and plyometrics through to heavy compound lifting and precision cable work.

Coaching-First Layout
Every element of the Diakadi floor layout is dictated by coaching logic, not conventional gym zoning. Equipment is positioned to support trainer movement, client sight lines, and session flow — with enough clear floor space between stations to cue movement, spot lifts, and teach mechanics without physical constraint. The floor plan was built around how Diakadi's coaches actually work.
No Compromises on Quality
Diakadi's reputation is built on outcomes — and outcomes depend on the equipment coaches have available. Every piece in the program was selected at the top of its category: Eleiko for barbells and plates, Atlantis for cable systems, Hoist for multi-station work. There is no budget tier, no value alternative. The equipment standard matches the coaching standard.
Built for Longevity
A private training studio at Diakadi's session volume needs equipment built for continuous heavy use under close supervision — which means structural durability matters as much as specification quality. Every brand in the program was chosen for its commercial-grade construction, warranty support, and service track record. Equipment at this level should last a decade of hard use.
